Book fair at Agriculture University PDF Print E-mail

A four-day book fair concluded at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Friday. The concluding ceremony was held at the Video Audio Laboratory in which Faculty of Agriculture Dean Dr Muhammad Ashfaq distributed certificates among the participants. Librarian Prof Zahid Atta Cheema, Prof Khalilur Rehman, Senior Tutor Prof Aslam Pervaiz and Dr Shahzad Basra were also present on the occasion. The fair provided a vast variety of printed material ranging from agriculture to literature. Agricultural books and classics of both Urdu and English literature became a source of attraction for the students.

Third GCUF convocation on Feb 11 PDF Print E-mail

The third convocation of Government College University, Faisalabad, will be held on February 11, said a press release on Sunday.

The statement said the convocation will start at 11 am. It said degrees would be awarded to graduates of 2009, 2010 and 2011 batches.

It said a rehearsal will be held at the university on February 10 at 10 am. It said attendance at the rehearsal is compulsory for the participating graduates.

Those who fail to attend the rehearsal will not be allowed to attend the convocation, it added.

The statement said the university had started registration of students interested in attending the convocation. It said an application in this regard can be submitted to the university till January 27.
